  • Thresholds Ahead: How Cycle Awareness Before Menopause Changes Everything

    Free Live Class

    Date: March 12, 2026

    Time: 11:00AM-12:30PM Pacific

Location: Online via Zoom (recording available to those who register in advance)

    Cost: Free (donations accepted)

Should you care about menopause if you’re not there yet?

It might feel distant — abstract, irrelevant, or “something to deal with later.”

But the truth is: the quality of your peri/menopausal transition is shaped long before your cycles begin to change.

In this workshop, we explore why menstrual cycle awareness is one of the most powerful preparations you can make for the thresholds of perimenopause and menopause, and how it helps carry you through them.

And if your cycles are already changing, you are in the work.

Perimenopause is not the end of cyclicality — it is a deepening of it. Attuning to your Inner Seasons now can transform confusion into coherence, and turbulence into meaning.

    Menopause doesn’t simply “happen.”

It is a long crescendo - a gradual unveiling that reveals and amplifies the patterns you’ve been living inside for decades.  And within that unveiling is a rare opening —a profound opportunity to recalibrate, reclaim your authority, and step into a more aligned chapter of life.

When you tune in more deeply to your unique menstrual cycle, you don’t just “prepare” for peri/menopause — you change the trajectory of how your body will carry you into and beyond this potent and meaningful transition. You set the foundation for the rest of your life.

    Future You will thank you.

    What We’ll Explore

    • Why your cycling years matter more than you think

How the patterns you've lived quietly shape your future transition.

    • The Inner Seasons as lifelong training

How each menstrual cycle rehearses the skills the menopause process will ask of you.

    • What gets amplified at midlife

Why nervous system load, chronic stress, suppressed emotion, hormonal strain, and misaligned life structures tend to surface during perimenopause — and how to begin working with them now.

    • How cycle awareness builds nervous system resilience

How attuning to your unique rhythm builds pacing, boundaries, self-trust, and capacity — the foundations of a resilient nervous system and a steadier transition.

    • Perimenopause as revelation, not malfunction

Understanding changing cycles as meaningful rather than random chaos or decline— and learning how to interpret the signals.

    • Recalibration instead of crisis

How to approach this phase as a conscious threshold — one that can reorganize your life around truth, vitality, and creative power.

    • Laying the foundation for the rest of your life

How cultivating cyclical intelligence now changes the trajectory of how you age, lead, create, and inhabit your body in the years to come.

  • Stress, Trauma & the Menstrual Cycle: What the Body Reveals

    Free Live Class

    Bridging Science and Lived Experience

From a scientific perspective, we are only just beginning to understand how stress and trauma live in the menstrual body.

For decades, trauma research centered on things like war, accidents, and male nervous systems. Meanwhile, the cyclical body was largely left out of the conversation.

    That is changing.

Emerging research suggests that stress and traumatic experiences — especially interpersonal and childhood trauma — may shape menstrual health across the lifespan. From PMS and PMDD to endometriosis, fibroids, fertility challenges, and menopausal symptoms, the nervous system and reproductive system appear far more intertwined than the western mind once understood.

While the research is only beginning to map these connections, many women have felt them in their bodies for years. Long before peer-reviewed studies examined cortisol patterns or trauma exposure, lived experience told us that stress can shift a cycle, that certain memories return at certain times of the menstrual month, that pain can intensify when something deeper has not been resolved. Our bodies have been speaking this language all along. Science is now catching up to what cyclical beings have quietly known: the "nervous system" and the "reproductive system" are in constant dialogue, and our histories shape how that dialogue unfolds.

In this workshop, we will explore the connections between stress, trauma and the menstrual cycle.

We’ll look at why the luteal phase can heighten emotional memory and stress reactivity, why unprocessed trauma or stress conditioning may resurface cyclically, and how cultural stigma and silence around the luteal phase and menstruation compounds physiological vulnerability.

But this is not just about so-called pathology.

    It is also about possibility.

If stress and trauma can disrupt the cycle, the cycle may also become a site of repair.

    We will explore:

The evolving science linking stress and trauma history with menstrual and reproductive health

Why certain phases of the cycle intensify stress sensitivity

How dissociation and suppressed memory/emotion may manifest as cyclical symptoms

The relationship between early life adversity and conditions such as PMS and endometriosis, or even menopause challenges

The role of shame and silence in internalized stress and trauma

How menstrual cycle awareness can become a resource for unveiling and healing patterns of stress and trauma

This workshop bridges research insights and embodied understanding.

    It asks a powerful question:

What if things like pain, mood shifts, or irregular cycles are not random malfunctions — but meaningful signals?

And what might change if we learned to listen differently?

  • Menstruality Circle: Dispelling the “Perimenopause” Myth

    Free Live Class

    Date: April 23, 2026

    Time: 11:00AM-12:30PM Pacific

Location: Online via Zoom (recording available to those who register in advance)

    Cost: Free (donations accepted)

As we move through our 30s and 40s, the body begins communicating with a new kind of intensity.

What the western medical system calls “perimenopause” is not a pathology — it’s a spiritual and cyclical initiation, a transitional phase where unresolved patterns, energetic obstructions, and unmet needs rise to the surface.

These expressions aren’t random or inconvenient.

    They aren’t “just symptoms”.

They are signs — invitations to tend what needs healing, reorganizing, or releasing long before crossing into the threshold of menopause.

Join me for a transformative live class grounded in the Menstrual Somatics Method, where we will explore the deeper meaning of perimenopausal changes — from shifts in bleeding, mood, sleep, and energy to pelvic tension, anxiety, and new cyclical or other health challenges.

You’ll learn why these experiences are not inevitable signs of aging or evidence that your body is “breaking down,” and how cycle-informed somatic and energetic practices can restore fluidity and ease — and foster healing, resilience, and meaningful growth — during this pivotal time.

This class is for women who are ready to understand perimenopause not as a problem, but as a sacred initiation — and also for women of any age or life stage navigating persistent or cyclical health challenges who sense that what is arising in their bodies is pointing them toward deeper healing, release, and spiritual maturation.

  • Where Your Cycle Meets Your Healing

    Healing with Menstrual Somatics

    (Free Live Class)

    Date: Coming soon in 2026

    Time: TBA

Location: Online via Zoom (recording available to those who register in advance)

    Cost: Free (donations accepted)

If your menstrual symptoms never seem to shift — no matter what supplements you try, what diet you follow, or how many tracking apps you use — there’s a reason.

Your cycle isn’t broken. It’s communicating.

Beneath PMS, pain, fatigue, irritability, breast tenderness, emotional turbulence, or perimenopausal spirals, there are deeper stories held in the body: patterns of tension, survival strategies, energetic blocks, and unresolved experiences that shape how the cycle unfolds month after month.

In this free class, you’ll learn how Menstrual Somatics works at the root — not by managing symptoms, but by helping you understand why they’re arising and how to work directly with the underlying somatic and energetic patterns.

    We’ll explore:

    • the connection between menstrual symptoms, trauma imprints, and unresolved stress physiology
    • how menstrual awareness reveals the deeper patterns you’ve been carrying
    • why certain cycle phases amplify old wounds, and how this can become a doorway to healing
    • the three core steps of the Menstrual Somatics Method
    • a guided practice to help you deepen into the underlying intelligence of your cycle — the place where true healing begins, and

    • an invitation to continue this work.

Whether you’re brand new to cycle awareness or you’ve been tracking for years, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your body’s language — and a grounded path for working with your cycle instead of against it.

This is a trauma-informed, root-cause approach to menstrual and whole-body healing — grounded, accessible, and designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Nothing is wrong with your body. It’s speaking.

    Come learn how to listen.

Menstrual Somatics: Returning to Rhythm

An introduction to the Menstrual Somatics Method, an approach that weaves together nervous system resilience, gentle movement, and cyclical intelligence to restore pelvic wellness, ease menstrual and “hormonal” challenges, and empower self-healing.

If your body is speaking a language you wish you could better understand — whether through pelvic pain, fatigue, so-called "PMS", emotional waves, or "perimenopausal" shifts  — if you’re tired of pushing through, looping familiar patterns, simply feeling disconnected from your body’s rhythms, trying to make sense of symptoms that never seem to shift, or even longing for a truly embodied spiritual practice, I’d love to invite you to a free live webinar on December 11th introducing the Menstrual Somatics Method.

This class will help you understand what your menstrual cycle is really communicating — and why your body may be asking for a different kind of support.

•how blocked energy affects your cycle and nervous system,

•the three core steps of the Menstrual Somatics Method, and

•a special, time-sensitive offer.

You don’t need any background to join. Whether you’re new to cycle awareness or already tracking deeply, this class offers a compassionate, root-cause perspective on menstrual and whole-body health.

Bless Your Bleed

Date: Saturday, November 18th, 2023

Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Location: Sacred Groves, Bainbridge Island, Washington

Cluster of small yellow flowers with pink buds on dark green leaves.

A Learning Circle at Sacred Groves

How you bleed matters. Your menstrual cycle is a reflection of your overall psychospiritual and physical health, and your bleed-time offers many cues to support your healing and evolution.

(By the way, the health of your cycling years also impacts how you will ultimately navigate through menopause, and it is never too early (or too late) to start preparing your body/mind for this potent initiation!)

This learning circle will explore the importance of “blessing your bleed” - a conscious tending of your body/mind throughout the seasons of your menstrual cycle and especially during your bleed (the Inner Winter of your cycle).

During this Circle you will:

- Learn about the five chambers of menstruation (Separation, Surrender, Renewal, Visioning, Clarity and Direction) and how to work with them.

- Learn how to read your menstrual blood for early warning signs of potential imbalances in your body.

- Gain knowledge of specific practices that support a healthful menstrual cycle and an easeful bleed.

- Understand the vaginal microbiome and ways to support your invisible friends.

- Learn about supportive herbal allies and gentle movement practices that alleviate menstrual symptoms.

- Learn supportive rituals for blessing your bleed.

- Learn about how natural, re-useable menstrual products support the health of your vagina and your relationship to your bleed.

- Sip a nourishing womb-tonic and take home the recipe.
